When a public HTTPS address fails, separately check DNS response, certificate chain, tunnel state, access policy, and origin response relevant to Zero Trust. Open an isolated test environment and run “getent hosts example.com && curl -Iv https://example.com”. Write down the expected output first, do not alter production data, and record one safe next diagnostic step.
