When a program reports “file not found” or “permission denied”, use `pwd`, `ls -la`, and `stat` to determine the real path and metadata relevant to Inode. Open an isolated test environment and run “pwd && ls -la /srv/example-app”. Write down the expected output first, do not alter production data, and record one safe next diagnostic step.
